BBQ BLACK BEAN BURGERS

INGREDIENTS

Prep: Time: 25 mins
- 4 cups black beans, drained
- 4 potato buns
- 4 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 4 ounces BBQ sauce
- Lettuce and tomato slices to garnish
- 1 tsp. salt
PREPARATION
- In a medium bowl, mash the black beans into a thick paste
- Add the breadcrumbs, onions, and garlic to food processor and finely chop
- Add breadcrumbs to black beans and stir in the chili powder, eggs, salt, and pepper
- Once the mixture is sticky, shape into 4 even sized burger patties
- Place patties over direct heat for 4-5 minutes per side
- Prepare buns with favorite condiments before placing burger patties on buns
- Enjoy!
