CEDAR PLANKED HALIBUT WITH HONEY LEMON BUTTER

A delicate smokey flavor complemented by honey-butter seasoning creates a meal you won’t want to end!

INGREDIENTS

•1 large cedar plank
•2 halibut fillets, about 8 ounces each
•1/4 tsp. garlic salt
•1/4 tsp. dried parsley
•1/8 tsp. salt
•1 tsp. dried rosemary
•1 tbsp. honey
•2 tbsp. butter, softened
•3 tbsp. lemon juice

PREPARATION

  1. Soak the cedar in hot water for 15 to 30 minutes
  2. Preheat the grill
  3. Rinse halibut under cold water and pat dry with paper towels then lay on plank
  4. In a small bowl, combine garlic salt, parsley, salt, and rosemary and set aside for later use
  5. In another bowl, mix honey, butter and lemon juice and brush on both sides of fillets
  6. Season both sides of halibut with herb mixture
  7. Once your grill is ready, place plank over direct heat
  8. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature is between 145-150 F
  9. Remove and serve!
