CEDAR PLANKED HALIBUT WITH HONEY LEMON BUTTER
A delicate smokey flavor complemented by honey-butter seasoning creates a meal you won’t want to end!
INGREDIENTS

•1 large cedar plank
•2 halibut fillets, about 8 ounces each
•1/4 tsp. garlic salt
•1/4 tsp. dried parsley
•1/8 tsp. salt
•1 tsp. dried rosemary
•1 tbsp. honey
•2 tbsp. butter, softened
•3 tbsp. lemon juice
PREPARATION
- Soak the cedar in hot water for 15 to 30 minutes
- Preheat the grill
- Rinse halibut under cold water and pat dry with paper towels then lay on plank
- In a small bowl, combine garlic salt, parsley, salt, and rosemary and set aside for later use
- In another bowl, mix honey, butter and lemon juice and brush on both sides of fillets
- Season both sides of halibut with herb mixture
- Once your grill is ready, place plank over direct heat
- Cook for 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature is between 145-150 F
- Remove and serve!
